| I was getting ready for work today and my 4 year old niece was over, I was doing my usual hassle with making sure my tattoos were covered, most of them are easy to hide minus the new one on my arm and my niece was watching me. Her dad works as a lawyer, and a bloody good lawyer at that, and pretty much his whole body is covered in tattoos. He's lost two jobs at two firms because of his tattoos but luckily his reputation is that good that there is always another firm there to pick him up. | Niece: | No. I was just wondering why people are racist |
| Me: | Oh, some people believe they are better just because they are white, it's something that's always been around unfortunately. I hope you know you aren't superior to anyone! |
| Niece: | But you and dad are white |
| Me: | Yes, that doesn't make us better than someone with a different color of skin. |
| Niece: | But people are racist to you and dad |
| Me: | What? |
| Niece: | You and dad have different colors on your skin and people make you cover it because it makes you less better than them. Why are they allowed to be racist to you but not to someone who has dark skin? |
